Clients involved in franchise and local advertising co-op situations often hire us to manage the process. We have extensive co-op management experience in the Quick Serve Restaurant and retail auto services categories. This includes planning and running co-op meetings, whether in person or via conference call. In many cases, The Media Team acts as secretary of the co-op, publishing co-op minutes, meeting notices, agendas and promotional updates. We can also develop sales contribution and cash flow analyses so that the advertising co-op stays within its budget.

For some of our clients, co-op management refers to an internal management system of contributions from outside vendors for the client’s overall advertising schedule. In these cases, we assist with distributing these funds fairly across schedules purchased and monitor that the advertising copy is running accordingly. Once schedules are complete, we confirm invoices are accurate and provide our clients with separate invoice packets for each vendor.
